Summer volunteer program at organic farm “June, July and August” is an exciting experience, volunteers get involve in rice plantation with the local farmers, singing “Asare geet” (typical song that sing during rice plantation) playing with wet mud dancing in rice field. Organic farm invites the volunteers from around the world to participate in farming volunteer works in monsoon season Nepal. During the monsoon season farmers are works in field to harvest the corn as well as a rice and millet plantation. June, July and August are the best months for rice plantation in Nepal.
“Bethi lagaune” organize before starting rice plantation, with playing local musical instruments “Bhakari badhne” organize in the middle of the plantation both are typical occasion. “Aasar pandhara” is a very special festival that celebrates by the farmers and works in the field, eat yogurt and bitten rice staying at rice field.
